City of Evanston to pay reparation to Black residents

Evanston, Illinois, is poised to become the first US city to offer reparation money to Black residents. Council members voted 8-1 on Monday in favor of giving funds to Black residents as a form of reparations for housing discrimination. The city will distribute $400,000 of a $10M fund generated by marijuana tax revenue, to up to 16 families to use towards housing needs.

Reparationa can only be fairly given to the individuals who have been wronged. Giving money to people because they are of a certain race is unjust.

It's a housing initiative being disguised as reparations. The one vote against was actually from a black woman. Do the tiniest research before you react people.
