Pride lifeguard tower burned down in Long Beach
In what has been described by the city’s mayor as an act of hate, the rainbow-colored lifeguard tower in Long Beach was burned down Tuesday. The tower was painted in rainbow colors by LGBTQ members of the Marine Safety Division during Pride Month last year. ’The fire is under investigation but I personally have little doubt this was an act of hate,’’ Long Beach Mayor Robert Garcia said.
Good on them. Government shouldn't be promoting a harmful agenda such as LGBT pride
Uh the tower looks very much intact to me. Maybe a before picture is needed. Isn't arson already a crime? How relevant is motive here, honestly?
