Senators from both the Democratic Party and the Republican Party will introduce a bill to block a permanent fencing at the US Capitol. A temporary fence was erected around the Capitol after the violent storming of the building on January 6 that left five people, including a policeman, dead. Senator Roy Blunt (R- Missouri) and Chris Van Hollen (D-Maryland) will introduce the bill on Thursday.
I am cool with no permanent fencing but when crazies threaten to raid the capitol again there should be temporary fencing at the very least.
A fence is not necessary. Storming the federal Capitol building will not happen again.
The summary is incorrect. Only one person was killed and that was an unarmed woman. Three were of natural causes outside the Capital and the police officer's death had nothing to do with anything that happened to him. I would place an edit, but the mods do not allow for certain leftist narrarives to be questioned and the admin wont do anything about it, or even reply to emails concerning the subject.
