Suez Canal blockage costing global trade almost $10B a day

One of the world’s largest cargo ships, the Ever Given, has been wedged in the Suez Canal for more than two days. The blockage could take weeks to untangle, and threatens to wreak havoc on global trade. The cargo ship is blocking an estimated $9.5B worth of shipments daily. At least 150 ships are now stuck. 12% of total global trade passes through the Suez Canal.

I have a possible solution. Check each container on the ship. Pray to the Heavens that there is one filled with drugs or Human trafficking victims and call the entire ordeal worth it to squeeze a greater positive out of a negative. To the Captain in command of this venture: o7. Bruv, I feel bad enough for you I think the emotional damage and apprehension you've suffered so far is punishment enough. Don't Sepuku please. Heavens have mercy on your soul. Nobody deserves this much World collectively creating a WAAAAAGHHH against them and the collective psychic pressure. 😂

But there's a Deep Sea Schlong on the ocean, so it's worth a few Brits loosing out on their imported Salt and Pepper (cause we all know they don't use any other spices)

Actually it is NOT costing global trade $10 billion a day, it will be costing the end consumer - you and me.

Gotta love the irony. Ever Given is doing a lot of taking; and Evergreen is wasting a lot of carbon émissions ... Anyone tried Drano yet?

Well we have to learn. The costlier it gets the better our response to remedy it !? Especially with that much of clumsy n rusty bulkers with very little mobility roaming our pot bellied oceanic expanse.
