Man pleads guilty to murder for starting deadly 1987 fire

46-year-old Elmer Nash Jr. has been charged for allegedly setting ablaze a college library in which a firefighter was killed more than three decades ago. Nash Jr., who was 12 at the time, admitted to starting the blaze, after multiple interviews conducted by authorities. Everett firefighter Gary Parks, 48, died on Feb. 16, 1987 while responding to a fire at Everett Community College.
