New Zealand’s Catholic Church apologises to survivors of abuse

New Zealand’s Catholic Church has formally apologized to the survivors of abuse within the church. Cardinal John Dew, the Roman Catholic archbishop of Wellington and Metropolitan of New Zealand, made the apology on behalf of the bishops and congregational leaders. A recent report found up to a quarter of a million kids, young people and vulnerable adults were abused from the 1960s to early 2000s.

The apology does not make everything alright were if the Catholic Church turned over all the pedophil priest and all the church reports to the police prosecutor so these human trash could be put in prison. But just like all rapist and child molesters and the people who protect them they blame the victim of the criminals act but don’t take responsibility for their own crime
