France has ’overwhelming’ responsibility for Rwanda genocide, report says

According to the findings of an official commission set up by French President Macron, France bears the burden of ’heavy and damning responsibilities’ in the Rwandan genocide. As many as 800,000 people, mainly from Rwanda’s minority Tutsi ethnic population, were massacred in a wave of killings in 1994. The report, however, said there was no evidence of complicity in the massacres.

„The commission's report apportioned blame to France for failing in its “political, institutional, intellectual, ethical (and) moral” responsibility, according to officials in Macron’s office. But the report says researchers found no evidence that French weapons were delivered to Rwanda after the start of the genocide.“ So, doing somethings White Supremacy, not doing anything is White Guilt. Got it.

This is where historians and researchers should take the front stage. Primary sources of the events should be investigated to ensure the utmost transparency between the current French govt and the Kigali in order to better relations between the two. Even if France is found to be somewhat responsible, they should seek to make amends for what occurred under socialist representation and offer peaceful offering for the future. To benefit the Kigali in this manner is beneficial to all internationally, not just to France
