Sen. Joe Manchin’s wife nominated to federal commission by Biden
President Joe Biden has picked Gayle Conelly Manchin to co-chair the Appalachian Regional Commission, an economic development partnership with 13 states designed to boost investment in the Appalachian Region. Ms. Manchin is the wife of Sen. Joe Manchin, and is an educator, past president of West Virginia’s State Board of Education and the former first lady of West Virginia.
So a career educationalist was chosen to head up an economic initiative? This doesn't seem like a very sound choice. For a party that claims to want to make progress, I can't see how this person could be the right choice to achieve that. But hey I have been wrong before....and so has the government so🤷🏼♂️

Just when Biden is having issues with Senate votes, he appoints a Senator's wife to a position (inconsistent with her background) where she would determine who gets lucrative contracts in her husband's state. 🤔
