Austin can require masks despite Texas lifting rules

State District Judge Lora Livingston, in a ruling, allowed the city of Austin to continue to require face coverings in local businesses, after Republican Gov. Greg Abbott ended a statewide mask mandate and other COVID-19 safety measures. Texas is also scheduled to make all adults eligible for the coronavirus vaccine. The state also reported 2,977 new COVID-19 cases on Friday.

It's too bad that Austin's city leadership is made up of a bunch of MORONS that are nothing but Leftist sheep!

You don’t need the government to were a face mask. You can we’re one if you want. Certain establishments may not allow you in if you wear one or some may not let you in if you don’t.
