Ohio Asian-American veteran reveals combat scars on chest to prove patriotism

Lee Wong, an Asian-American member of an Ohio township, bared his chest to reveal the battle scars he received while serving in the US military. This comes at a time when America is witnessing a rise in attacks on Asian-Americans. Wong, 69, said, ’People question my patriotism, that I don’t look American enough.’ He said he could no longer bear indignities of prejudice against Asian-Americans.

In an effort to combat racism, let's make sure to mention this person's race before anything else. Not his scars, service, or the clothes he wears, no the first thing we will tell people is that he is Asian. Now stop being racist!
