Birx says most US Covid deaths could have been avoided after first 100,000

Dr Deborah Birx, who was the White House Covid-19 taskforce coordinator in former President Donald Trump’s administration, said most of Covid-19 deaths in the US could have been avoided if Trump had acted seriously earlier. Talking to CNN, Brix said, ’There were about 100,000 deaths that came from that original surge. All of the rest of them could have been mitigated or decreased substantially.’
