WHO, 23 nations back pandemic treaty to tackle future health crises

The WHO and leaders of 23 countries backed the idea of a global treaty that would help the world deal with future health emergencies like the Covid-19 pandemic. The treaty would seek to ensure universal and equitable access to vaccines, medicines and diagnostics for future pandemics. The 23 countries are a mixture of rich and poor nations and represent every continent except North America.

23 countries collectively agree that the USA must pay for the bulk of everything done globally all the time. This isn't a 'North America' thing. Doesn't matter if the topic is climate, defense, or disease. Its not like the world expects Canada or Mexico to step up. Its always about USA.

The WHO exposed themselves as a mouthpiece for CCP propaganda, which directly lead to the preventable deaths of millions and massive global economic damage. Not until the WHO can demonstrate that it has made the internal changes required to insure that it will never again risk the world's health, simply to protect the CCP ego will I regard anything they recommend or report with any credibility.

They must think we wont fight back against this garbage. Everyday its another assault on morality, privacy, and sovereignty...

The idea and principle sounds good but thats all. The idea of pushing vaccines as the only way to deal with a pathogen as if that is the panacae of everything is wholly and utterly repulsive and crucially is not at all for health but tied into politics of power. I thought the WHO were supposed to be the 'overseers' on world health but are subservient to controlling moguls and bent governments.

I hope that that treaty not only gets signed but also that it never loses its power over the decades the way that many public health monitoring initiatives that were founded in the 1990s or 2000s have been doing. Moreover, I hope that similar treaties will be signed for various natural disasters, not just for floods, hurricanes/cyclones and earthquakes, but also for volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, etc.
