No convictions in cases against ex-officers in St. Louis protest beating

A jury on Monday acquitted St. Louis police officer Steven Korte of charges of deprivation of rights under color of law and of lying to the FBI in the attack on Officer Luther Hall. Korte mistook Hall for a protestor and is accused of beating him. Hall required several surgeries after the attack. Cases against two other officers reached hung juries on charges of destroying evidence.
