Police in Rome’s outskirts have arrested a serving frigate captain in the Italian Navy and ordered the expulsion of two Russian envoys on spying charges. The officer was caught while allegedly giving classified documents to one of the Russians in exchange for money. Italy’s Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio termed the alleged incident as a ’hostile act of extreme gravity’ before a parliament panel.
