Women’s underwear to be provided to female recruits in Swiss army

In an effort to boost recruitment, Switzerland is to allow female members of the army to wear women’s underwear for the first time. Under the present system, the standard uniform includes only men’s underwear. Women make up about 1% of the Swiss armed forces. The country hopes to up that number to 10% by 2030. The current Swiss army uniforms were first introduced in the mid-1980s.

Wow, this is so sexist. Underwear! It’s extremely sad that Switzerland thought about providing UNDERWEAR to women in the army only now! Also, Switzerland has the mandatory military service for boys but not for girls. It sounds like on this matter they’re stuck in the last century but we’re 21 years on in a new millennium.
