DoJ asks for more time to decide whether to give House Trump’s tax records

Lawyers for the Department of Justice asked a judge for more time to decide whether to turn former President Donald Trump’s taxes over to the House Ways and Means Committee. The committee subpoenaed Trump’s tax records while he was the president and the Treasury Department declined to comply with the subpoena at that time. The Supreme Court ruled that the House may subpoena the records.
