Days after patrol gunfire ambush, Texas State Trooper dies

Trooper Chad Walker of Texas who was ambushed by gunfire in his patrol car last week, has died, authorities reported. Walker was shot numerous times as he was assisting the driver of a disabled vehicle. DeArthur Pinson Jr., the suspected gunman, killed himself later. His rap sheet includes a felony armed robbery conviction and an arrest for deserting the Army.
