Pro-life Catholics defend archbishop who criticized Biden

Catholic advocacy group CatholicVote has started a signature campaign in support of Kansas City Archbishop Joseph Naumann. The archbishop is under pressure to step down from his post of chairman of the US bishops’ pro-life committee for saying President Joe Biden ’should stop defining himself as a devout Catholic,’ in February. So far, CatholicVote has gathered 40,000 signatures.

To be fair a person can hold whatever political views they want but its simply not possible to be a devout Christian and support abortion on demand (which is most abortions).

You don’t need to be Catholic to realize an unborn human being is a human being. You just need to be a rational person who is paying attention and has not been brainwashed by a political ideology that ignores the humanity of pre-born humans in order to strip them of their human rights.

If the Catholic Church has decided to insert itself into a political debate, maybe the Catholic Church should also forgo its exemption from taxes.

Newsflash! Biden claims to be Catholic. Being a Roman Catholic myself, we were taught "the rules" of our faith. Catholics are pro life. By supporting abortion, Biden is breaking that rule. He is a leader of the country. The leaders of our faith are saying that because he is leading he needs to be admonished for breaking "the rules". So l lefties please understand that in religion leaders have to admonish those who breaks the rules and they should not be cancelled for doing so. The leaders are essentially asking Biden to live his faith or suffer the consequences if he doesn't (no communion).
