Biden lets Trump-era ban on temporary foreign worker visa to lapse
President Joe Biden allowed an order signed by former President Donald Trump to expire, which had barred many temporary foreigners from coming into the US for work under several schemes, Reuters reported citing a related court filing. Earlier, media had reported that Biden would not renew it. The Trump administration had then argued that the Covid-19’s impact on the economy required the measure.
