’Easter egg strike’ launched by Myanmar anti-coup protesters

Anti-coup protesters in Myanmar have taken to the streets, holding painted eggs in a nod to the Easter holiday on Sunday. One group marched through the Insein district in the city of Yangon, chanting and singing protest songs and cradling eggs bearing the slogan ’Spring Revolution.’ A drawing of the three-fingered salute was also displayed on many of the eggs.

I can't help but feel this is a way if getting the western world involved. The Burmese don't give a $h!t about Easter, they are taking the photos to garner sympathy points from the Christian population.
