A US federal judge has allowed a new class-action lawsuit against Apple which alleges that the company knowingly sold Macbooks with defective displays to consumers. The suit claims that Apple has sold MacBook Pro laptops with defective display panels, where the bottom part of the screen suffers from alternate dark spots. Apple had removed the defective laptops after the problem came to light.
