Jordan’s Prince Hamzah bin Hussein, former crown prince of the kingdom the halfbrother of King Abdullah, issued a statement pledging his allegiance to the king. This comes within hours of a mediation between his lawyers and the king’s uncle. Prince Hamzah was dramatically put under house arrest over the weekend and accused of conspiring to destabilize the country. Hamza denies the allegations.
