Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson (R) vetoed a bill that would make it illegal for transgender minors to receive medication or surgery for gender transition. This came as a surprise as the US is witnessing a push from Republicans to curb trans people’s healthcare, etc. However, the Arkansas state legislature could override Hutchinson’s veto. The Republicans hold big majorities in both the houses.
Yea, fashionable sex transition ad abuse to a child for families to project their mental need to have a disabled child by proxy is so much better. Look; I'd you're pro trans-sexuality, a place doesn't have to change its culture for you. However; why don't we instead allow pro-genetial mutilation/transitioning states to allow refugee status? Both sides win and the rights of the individual are preserved.
Allowing minors to mutilate there bodies is not “healthcare”
"He argued that H.B. 1570 was “overbroad, extreme and does not grandfather those young people who are currently under hormone treatment,” "He said he would have signed the bill if it had prohibited only gender-affirming surgeries, and urged legislators to pass a more “restrained” version." This appears to be the Governor's area of criticism. He does not seem to view the pharmaceutical aspect to be of similar potential harm as the surgeries.
When it comes to right wing people talking about any progressive idea , it is best described as they just dont get it or even understand.
Puberty blockers are child abuse period. They didn't even need a law to achieve these results. They just need to enforce child abuse laws currently on the books.
Good.
Thank goodness. Please examine why your party even thinks things like this are appropriate.
Thank you.
Where and why is he wrong
PSA: THIS IS NOT AN ANTI-TRANSGENDER LAW.
Wow, the one time I agree with republicans y’all wuss out:/
Stopping mentally ill parents from mutilating their kids is “government overreach”?
