In graft trial, prosecutor says Netanyahu’s favors were ’currency’

At Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s corruption trial, a prosecutor told a Jerusalem court that the PM had helped a business couple to clinch deals worth hundreds of millions of shekels in exchange for favorable coverage of him on a news website they owned. The prosecutor said, ’The relationship between Netanyahu and the defendants became currency, something that could be traded.’
