On-stage bust up causes ’Mrs Sri Lanka’ beauty queen to get injured

After a brawl had broken up on stage, the winner of the biggest beauty prize in Sri Lanka suffered head injuries. On Sunday, at a ceremony which was showcased on national TV, the ’Mrs Sri Lanka’ title was won by Pushpika De Silva. The 2019 winner then seized the crown from Mrs De Silva’s head claiming that she was not eligible as she was divorced.
