Alcee Hastings, a Democratic Representative and fiercely liberal longtime Florida congressman, has died at the age of 84. Hastings had announced 2 years ago that he had pancreatic cancer. He was dogged throughout his tenure by an impeachment that ended his fast-rising judicial career. Known as an advocate for minorities, he held senior posts on the House Rules Committee and the Helsinki Commission

We need term limits on all politicians. 84 years old MD when he died he was still in. Sad these career politicians need to do 4 yrs only and move on.
