Force used on Floyd was ’excessive’, says police expert

A sergeant from the Los Angeles Police Department, named Jody Stiger said that after reviewing a video of the arrest of George Floyd, he felt ’the force was excessive.’ Mr. Stiger is serving as a prosecution use-of-force expert, and testified at the trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin. Mr. Floyd’s death had sparked nationwide protests against police brutality.

Other body cams show chavin's knee was not actually on floyd's neck, it was on the shoulder blade, facing away from the neck. See min 41 this video in Court. So much of this is moot. Arguing about stuff that didn't actually happen.

Using 4 tie downs to secure a load is usually excessive too, but I'm going to do it anyways.

I wonder if these experts, had any thing to do with the training of these officers.
