After four days, Buddhist monk stuck in flooded Thai cave freed

A Buddhist monk has been rescued from a flooded cave by rescue workers in Thailand after he went to meditate inside the cave four days ago. According to rescuers, the cave was entered by the monk when he was on a pilgrimage. Water levels rose and the cave flooded following an unexpected rainstorm which struck the area. The monk was brought out to safety by a team of 17 divers.
