Biden restores US aid to Palestinians, calls for two-state solution

US President Joe Biden restored $235 million aid to the Palestinians and vowed to push for a two-state solution in a dramatic U-turn from former President Donald Trump’s policy. The US said it would contribute $150 million to the UN agency for Palestinian refugees and also offer $75 million in economic assistance for the West Bank and Gaza. It will also give $10 million for efforts towards peace.
