Facebook will not notify users who had personal information stolen

Facebook had a data breach that allowed hackers to copy personally identifiable information including names, email addresses, and phone numbers of more than 500 million people. Facebook said it has no plans to notify users affected the data breach. Asked to justify the decision, a Facebook spokesperson explained the company does not yet have a full view of the specific users.

I personally believe these " data breaches" arent actually that. Its them handing off your data, they just call it a "data breach." Bet if you sift hard enough you can find some shady payment to some obscure program of sorts, probably under the guise of some diversity nonsense.

You want your data safe, stop putting it online. Drop SM and live happier.

That'll change after the world sues them in a class action suit. Some lawyer will do it to make a name for themselves.

Really FB dosen't have to tell you anything since it is a private business. They probably sold the data to the government and Homeland Security. Crack down coming soon.
