UK to classify international travel destinations with color code in May

The United Kingdom said it will confirm in May whether it will allow international travel to resume from May 17. This will be determined by a new color code – red, green and amber – countries will be categorized based on Covid risks. The UK’s Department for Transport said a ’watchlist’ will be drawn up to identify countries that could switch from green to amber, to help passengers plan in advance.
