Derek Chauvin case: Judge refuses to sequester jury in George Floyd murder case

A request by the defense in the George Floyd case to immediately sequester the jury was refused by the judge. The request was submitted the morning after the killing of a Black man during a traffic stop which triggered unrest in a suburb just outside Minneapolis. The defense attorney argued that the jurors could be influenced by the prospect of what might happen as a consequence of their verdict.

Can't even get through one police murder trial before the thugs in badges murder more Americans without due process.

With the judge's refusal, if Chauvin is convicted I bet the judge's refusal will become grounds for an appeal.
