Daunte Wright’s death ’tragic,’ Biden says while cautioning against violence

President Joe Biden said Daunte Wright’s death in a Minneapolis police shooting was ’tragic.’ He said he his prayers were with Wright’s family. However, cautioning protesters, Biden said there would be no justification for violence. He also called for calm and wait for the investigation report. Minneapolis is already on the edge over Derek Chauvin’s murder trial in the death of George Floyd.

There is obviously a serious issue with how the police are being trained or the lack of training, but it is the media that stirs the pot leading to riots. Yes, most are peace protesters, but those that aren't are given a free pass and that has to end. It isnt good for anyone, not for those who's property is destroyed, not those who get caught up in random violence and definitely not those who are truly trying to bring change. Because the protesters with pure intentions have their message drowned out by the spectacle of looting and rioting. Which is exactly what the media and the state want. So, someone must hold these rioters (criminals) to account otherwise the only changes made will be in the form of a police state. The exact opposite of what is being advocated for.
