Epic Games Store loses $454 million in previous 2 years

Epic reported a $181 million loss in 2019 and $273 million in 2020 on the Games Store alone. The reported losses come as the company has been trying hard to compete against Steam, and has offered free games to consumers, and signed exclusivity deals with third party developers. Epic Games has, however, been somewhat successful in pulling more customers to its platform.
