Obamas react to Wright’s fatal shooting, says ’our hearts are heavy’

Former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle released a statement grieving the death of Daunte Wright, the 20-year-old black man who the police shot in a Minneapolis suburb. In the joint statement, the Obamas wrote: ’Our hearts are heavy over yet another shooting of a black man, Daunte Wright, at the hands of police.’ They also called for a ’full and transparent investigation’ in the case.

Obama needs to be reminded he is no longer president and, as such, does not need to comment on news topics. To refer to the "murder" of George Floyd in the middle of the Chauvin trial is inexcusable and clearly an attempt to sway the court. He needs to learn to STFU.
