I'll believe it when I see it. Seriously, how many times have we heard this just for some random attack to occur leading us to send more troops rather than bringing them home ?🤔 Kinda like gun control, every time a politician talks about gun control all the sudden there is a string of random attacks so that they have something fresh to point to.

At this point let the Taliban have it. If they harbor another terrorist group that attacks America again then we will do this again.

When President Trump said on Twitter last week that all American troops in Afghanistan might be home by Christmas, he was reiterating a goal that has eluded him for years — and most likely hoping that when it comes to ending military deployments, voters will give him more credit for his messaging than for his results. Mr. Trump has long vowed to leave Afghanistan and, more broadly, to conclude what he calls the United States’ “endless wars” across the Middle East, reviving a core theme from his 2016 campaign that some data suggest could have played a crucial role in his election. But with three months left in his first term, Mr. Trump has not welcomed home the last American soldier from anywhere.

This is a mistake and it was a mistake under Trump too. Not the fact that we are leaving but setting dates is stupid. You don't tell people you have been fighting for 20 years what your plans are because they might use that against you.

Biden can say and try to push around the CIA and the military industrial complex all he wants but just like Trump and Obama, the POTUS does not actually control them. They will simply release a statement indicating the need to remain in place.

First he said the vaccines would be available to all by April 19, now he's withdrawing troops by Sept. 11. What is his obsession with dates of terror attacks on us?

Ah yes, 9/11 is very symbolic, and I am sure everyone will now forget about the plan to leave next month.

Highly doubt it, he canceled the departure and is establishing more troops in iraq already.
