what your saying is true, but remember, Canada is the United states ally. there's a good chance that Canada will acknowledge the United states trade policies.

True but if we're going to be arresting wanted people for other countries, we might as well arrest the Dallai Llama as well since the PRC will want him for inciting the Tibetan riots of 2008. (what I'm saying is we should mind our own business)

Canada is not only an ally of the US but has an extradition treaty with the US and so the US can ask Canada to arrest someone and send them to the US. And Canada can do the same. Of course Canada dosen't just do it with no say or due process. Now the arrested person will appear in a Canadian court and they (and their lawyer) will argue why they shouldn't be extradited. The court can decide whether or not to extradite or require conditions to extradite. For example Canadian courts often require the US to promise not to seek the death penalty before extraditing murderers.
