Defense request to acquit Derek Chauvin denied by judge

The defense had claimed that the prosecution had failed to prove that Chauvin’s actions last year killed Floyd. This was rejected by the judge.

It was not even on his neck, they switched to "neck area" when the top view video showed chavin's knee was actually pointing away from the neck across the shoulder blade, pointing towards the vehicle tire. Does it matter whether Chauvin knelt on Floyd’s neck versus his shoulder?

Strategic move by the defense but likely a bit early. The defense witnesses' testimonies may provide enough reasonable doubt in the jurors' minds.

Balls move by the defense and in a normal world it probably would have worked. That jury is going to send the cop away. They know if they don’t the rioters will come for them and their families.

In the normal world we use to have and the way the system normally works that request would have been granted in a heartbeat. There are tons of doubt present. But the decision to not sequester the jury where they will see that the female officer was doxxed I’m sure will lead to the verdict the city wanted in a move of self preservation hoping it saves the city.

This trial was already conducted by a corrupt media. What we are seeing now is their kangaroo court.
