Officer who fatally shot Capitol rioter won’t be charged: DoJ

The US Justice Department said that it will not pursue criminal charges against the police officer who was responsible for fatally shooting a woman participating in the Jan. 6 pro-Trump invasion of the U.S. Capitol. The DOJ said that officials determined ’there is insufficient evidence to support a criminal prosecution’ against the U.S. Capitol Police officer in the shooting of Ashli Babbitt.

I'd bet my bottom dollar that if she had looted some tvs or set fire to a Dollar Tree or Auto Zone, she'd have been let go no problem. But trespassing into their sacred cathedral, the holy of holies? The elite can't have that.

Just shows the leftist narrative...Kyle Rittenhouse is charge for defending himself being beaten and attacked by a pack of antifa, skateboard hippies, but no charges for a cop who shot a woman in the face for trespassing. You liberals have gone even further insane.

So is it now the Republicans' turn to loot, riot, and burn cities down? No justice, no peace, right?? Isn't that how this works? Or does that only count when it's actual criminals that get killed??

Good! Continue to show no mercy for these domestic terrorists.

So the same ones that are ok with no charges for an officer that killed an unarmed combat vet for trespassing are probably the same ones that are ok with burning a city down for an officer accidentally shooting someone that had a felony warrant, and resisted arrest but it’s for racial and social justice right.

He should be charged. He was on the other side of the door which was barricaded with furniture. Took out his gun aimed and shot an unarmed woman. Did he see her with a weapon or was it fear for his life that he decided to shoot. Either way he should be charged.

The lame attempt at comparing this to kneeling on someone's neck while restrained behind their back is astounding. Hey cultists, hop the WH fence and sprint for the front door. Let me know what happens. I think the cultists still havent seen the violent videos from that day because right wing media has shown none of them. Maybe you've seen the MAGA fool hitting a capitol police officer in the face with a board with a nail sticking out of it? No? Imagine a black man doing that to a cop😳

Well at least cops can still shoot some unarmed people and not be lynched by the left.

This is why you guys act like a cult, and I don't care if the vast majority of thumb ups are from you guys, the general opinion changed really quickly to wanting to prosecute the officer on here, I changed my opinion last year when I watched donut operator videos for days on end, I saw the video, the 4 cops outside the door who was threatened by the mob to move because as the mob guy put it, we back the blue, we'll clear a way out for you, I've seen people get hurt out there, we don't want that, the 4 move to the side and the mob starts breaking through the door, after they threatened officers, she gets shot as she crosses the barrier, just like I believe Kyle Rittenhouse should have shot as well https://youtu.be/lhjRXO72v1s jump to 5:13 for the video without added commentary, I thought the talking point that half Republicans believe is that it was Antifa members"hidden" as Trump supporters, usually you attack Antifa, but I don't see you calling the woman first over the barrier Antifa, instead your acting more like it's an unjustified, even say like an accidental discharge, which really seems like what happened in Daunte Wright's case if you see the video with audio, I understand why everyone doesn't, I can tell it's unhealthy to myself, but I will say, if there's a mob coming through my door, the last barrier to my safety or those around me(as an officer-Tennessee vs Garner), it's not in my blood to run to the exit when others haven't, castle doctrine just kicked in and the officer had good trigger discipline and didnt shoot anyone else, that officer didn't continue to make the bodies add up in a fatal funnel, and now, since donut operators (Leo recap #1 capital)can't be shared and has 3 different not suitable for audiences popups in front of it on YouTube, I write it here so if anyone wanted to see him describe it, as he educated me last year alot, which visibly wears him down, but like the mob around the officer being killed could be prosecuted for murder out of their proximity to the crime, the fact they threatened the cops to move under bodily harm(the first link) then tried to breach means that under proximity of that threat, the officers safety was then included, because if they tell that to the cops in front of the barrier, then try to get past a barrier, that officer who shot is now in the position of the 4 officers prior to the barrier, also, I can be anti-fascist (America circa WW2) and respect cops, now that's enough of me wasting my time where no one cares, no matter
