Floyd died of heart condition and drugs, defense expert in Chauvin trial says

Dr David Fowler, a forensic expert testifying in defense of Derek Chauvin, who is on trial for the murder of George Floyd, said fentanyl and methamphetamine in Floyd’s body, and possibly carbon monoxide poisoning from auto exhaust, resulted in his enlarged heart with narrow arteries to stop. Fowler’s testimony directly contradicts the prosecutors’ argument that Chauvin choked Floyd with his knee.

Yea the headlines as usual are misleading. He said heart arrhythmia caused by 90% blockage, struggle and fentanyl/methamphetamine. Not just random heart problem. https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/548198-defense-expert-floyd-died-from-sudden-cardiac-arrhythmia-significant Floyd died from sudden cardiac arrhythmia, 'significant' contributing conditions "In my opinion, Mr. Floyd had a sudden cardiac arrhythmia or cardiac arrhythmia, due to his atherosclerotic and hypertensive heart disease, or you can write that down multiple different ways, during his restraint and subdual by the police or restraint by the police," Fowler said when asked by defense attorney Eric Nelson to summarize his opinions in the case. "And then, his significant contributory conditions would be, since I've already put the heart disease in part one, he would have the toxicology, the fentanyl and methamphetamine," Fowler added.

This witness has a history of being used in cases to defend cops. Just look up his past. He also claimed the exhaust from the car could have killed him lol 🤦‍♂️. Good god. ''ll take the opinion of a 45 year career pulmonologist over some retired pathologist.
