Chauvin’s murder trial in Floyd’s death ends, closing arguments set for Monday

The murder trial of ex-Minneapolis policeman Derek Chauvin in the death of George Floyd concluded Thursday. Hennepin County District Judge Peter Cahill set Monday for the defense and prosecution to close their arguments. The judge has told jurors they will be sequestered at a hotel during the deliberations. On the 14th day of the trial, Chauvin invoked his Fifth Amendment right not to testify.
