Israeli museum to drop ’McJesus’ sculpture after protests

An Israeli museum plans to withdraw a sculpture depicting the McDonald’s mascot as the crucified Jesus following protests. The sculpture shows the Ronald McDonald clown on a cross. Other pieces depict Jesus and the Virgin Mary as Ken and Barbie children’s dolls. The mayor of the Jewish-Arab city of Haifa said the sculpture would be taken out following consultations with church leaders.

There's nothing new or even edgy with these kinds of displays. Once you've seen all kinds of "art" criticising Christianity, it's all "meh". Hell, there are even Jesus and saints dildos. Buzz me when they actually try to criticize Islam. Living in a world where the very act of criticizing Islam is deemed a "phobia" you'd think these "artists" would tackle something so taboo. But we all know why these fuckers aren't saying anything about it, despite the gag order, the violence, and the protection of Islam by the state. They're afraid, afraid that those barbarians will actually try to do them harm because they dared say something about Pedo Momo and his brand of delusion. So to be edgy, there's always Christianity to mock. *YAWN* And just saying this for those who say I'm just defending Christianity, I'm an agnostic atheist.

They should’ve put this in a American museum, just because that the symbolism or meaning matches most of American Christianity(televangelism and pimp preachers to be exacted)

I’m a Catholic and I couldn’t really give a damn. It’s just a joke.

I mean what if i made a sculpture of how germans (in ww2) viewed Jews as a piece to be put up? (it is not a 1 for 1 similarity but the basic concept of human dignity applies)
