Alabama man repeatedly stuffed child in clothes dryer, turned it on, police say

Steven Todhunter, 25, was arrested on Jan 12 on charges of aggravated child abuse & felony domestic violence. According to charging documents, abuse happened between May 2017 - May 2018, & was not reported until September 2018. The warrant said Todhunter put the young boy in a dryer & turned it on multiple times, securing it with a chair. Sticking the boy in a hot wash load was also threatened.

Me and my brother used to mess around with the dryer. But holding the door closed was against the rules. This is disgusting child abuse when a father forcibly confines their children in a dangerous machine. Luckily my parents would find us and save us from our stupidity. Can’t believe this was the case for a year of this child’s life.
