USS Donald Cook to enter Black Sea

The U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyer USS Donald Cook, transits the Bosphorus Strait while en route to the Black Sea. The U.S. destroyer began moving towards the Black Sea on Saturday, ’to conduct maritime security operations and enhance regional maritime stability’ The Russian Black Sea fleet began monitoring the warship once it entered the region, according to Russia’s National Defence Control.
