Supreme Court takes no action on DACA, leaving policy in place for now

The Supreme Court on Tuesday took no action on whether it will hear disputes over the Trump administration’s decision to wind down the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. No action means that protections for some 700,000 young people brought to the country illegally as children may remain in place for several more months.

Ugh... Pure, brazen hypocrisy. Liberal judges enforced DACA, an executive order and not the actual LAW, as though it were holy writ. Same judges: Trump can't decisw immigration policy.

TQ, this is the reason Democrats don't feel like negotiating on DACA. However, the absolute decision has not been made, so when it occurs the DACA recipients could find themselves being deported.

why would they? no decisions have been made or deals struck. I thought that is how government shutdowns worked, nothing gets down.
