Venezuela says rogue officers captured after sergeant demands Maduro’s removal

Venezuela has captured a group of military officers who stole weapons and kidnapped four officials, the government said in a statement on Monday. This came hours after an online video showed a sergeant demanding the removal of President Nicolas Maduro. Protesters burned trash and a car outside the National Guard outpost where the officers were arrested.

Most likely staged, now that there's a "competing government" trying to get the military on their side, to depose Maduro. He will use this, like Erdogan, to purge the ranks, and maybe call in for military assistance from Russia.
