Judge strikes down Iowa ’fetal heartbeat’ abortion law

A judge in Iowa struck down a state law Tuesday banning a woman from obtaining an abortion once a fetus’ heartbeat is detected. Fetal heartbeats can be detected as early as six weeks into a pregnancy, making the Iowa law the most restrictive anti-abortion measure in the country. Democratic Leader Janet Petersen said the decision lets Iowa women know that their constitutional rights are important.

This is Junk Science a fetal heartbeat at six weeks. A heart beat is medically the sound of blood rushing through the hearts atrium and ventricles caused by the contraction of the muscle through the AV and SA nodes. At six weeks a fetus has no heart nor blood rushing throughout it. It simply has the neuronal nodes form that begin to initiate the electrical rhythm they were designed to do. The abortion argument is not about life cause if it were the pro life movement would win. Biologically all cells are alive (with few exceptions), the stem cells that originate and help create the blastula in the womb are alive it is a living creature. The true argument is whether to consider that creature human? At what stage do we percieve it human thus aborting it be wrong, under non life threatening medical emergencies? Always fight against junk science people its the only real way to fight crazy laws like this one, the judge made the right call invalidating this. And for the record im Pro Life

I personally think abortion as a birth control method is absolutely abhorrent and barbaric. However, we have to look at the reality of the situation. If it isn't allowed then a black market evolves. Women start hurting themselves and sometimes killing themselves to end their pregnancies. It does not become as bad as the stupid "war on drugs" but it is a similar analogy. When you start banning something that is when crime goes up and more people get hurt. The last thing we need is women using wire clothes hangers on themselves and "doctors" performing abortions in storage facilities. Abortions need to be allowed. The women getting them need to be informed of all of the negative consequences like depression and can sometimes causing them to go sterile. We are constantly bombarded about it is "her body" but what about the rights of the babies to their bodies and life? What about the rights of the father? This is just one of those things that is very complicated and emotionally charged. Maybe one day we can get technology advanced enough that a fetus can be transplanted into an artificial womb.
