Democratic Tulsi Gabbard to run for president in 2020

Hawaii Democratic Congressional Representative and military veteran Tulsi Gabbard, 37, will run for President in 2020. Her main focus is ’the issue of war and peace,’ also health care, criminal justice reform and climate change. She is known for supporting Bernie Sanders and for meeting with Syrian president Bashar al-Assad to personally investigate the veracity of chemical attack allegations.

I am not surprised that Tulsi is going to run for POTUS, but I will not be surprised if the DNC will do very much similar to her like they did to Bernie which was proven due to wikileaks....

I’m actually happy to see this as I love her foreign policy stance and she’s no establishment shill. I think she’ll get crucified in the media for just that reason though.

Pro establishment outlet "The Daily Beast" is already smearing a veteran for not being on board with foreign intervention and adventurism.

“Gabbard said “the issue of war and peace” would be the main focus of her campaign.” Sounds like she’s a actual Liberal and not a Leftist.

Like her quite a bit, but at the same time not too keen on how behind Sanders she was in 2016. The question there is does she feel that more government creates good solutions, because he was obviously better than Clinton, or other reasons?

The last thing we need is someone who is kinda in the middle. How could we fight on social media if the pres is bipartisan. Also Trump 2020 Trump jr 2024 2028

I think she can be quite bi-partisan. From what I know, she is an outlier...kind of like a Democratic Ron Paul or Rand Paul. I'm not saying that her stances are the same (though in war, they probably are), but she is someone the establishment in her party hates for having a mind of her own. (Thus some other comments that I agree with that the DNC will try to "Bernie" her.) On top of that, she does not have Trump Derangement Syndrome, but rather calls it like she sees it and criticizes only when she has thinks it is the right thing to do, but not as a knee-jerk reaction. From everything I know, she is a great politician who is not in the pockets of the lobbyists, corporations, and the other usual suspects.

The Dems will have 2020 candidates competing for the 2020 nomination.
