Microsoft buys Citus Data

Microsoft announced that it has acquired Citus Data, a company focused on making PostgreSQL databases faster and more scalable. Citus customers include the likes of real-time analytics service Chartbeat, email security service Agari and PushOwl. The price of the acquisition was not disclosed. Citus Data previously raised more than $13 million.
