NASA to fly helicopter on Mars for first time

Nasa on Monday will attempt the first-ever controlled flight on Mars after multiple delays. The demonstration should see a mini-helicopter - called Ingenuity - rise to about 3m, hover for roughly 30 seconds, swivel, and then land. The flight will begin at approximately 3:30 am Eastern Daylight Time. The agency had originally planned the flight for April 11 but postponed it over a software issue.
